Good for all skin types- Targeted Skin Type:

Skincare Concerns:

Note that any vitamin C topical can quickly generate skin receptor fatigue. Over frequent application will reverse visible benefits. The skin should be ‘surprised’ by this metabolite.

High concentrations as found in C 12.5 Drops are best applied every three evenings (or even less – observe and adjust) is recommendedseem to work best.

Aging or youthful skin with uneven pigmentation and blemishes cannot be exfoliated to a more even tone or address unsightly age spots. Where it has lost its vitality and responsiveness new approaches are necessary.

How to use per concern:

PIGMENTATATION SPOTS:

Apply C 12.5 DROPS two or three times (2x-3x) per week, evenings (observe and adjust). Spread with Calming Mist.
After two weeks a second active may be introduced.
Do not exceed 2x per week if a second active is in play. An active partner for pigmentation would be a traditional retinol such as 302 Skincare A 0.5 Drops or for experienced retinol users 302 Skincare A 1.0 Drops, either used once per week. If you have used 302 Skincare A Drops or A Drops Rx you will find the gentle yet highly effective and skin friendly active retinol  in the following formula: Dermaki Skincare Vitamin A Complex as a suitable and effective option without the irritation commonly associated with traditional retinols.

Minimize other leave-on products at time of application. Apply in the evening to avoid a need for makeup and sunblock. No need for moisturizer following application.

Use only very mild products and very infrequently exfoliate. Exfoliation often increases visible pigmentation spots.

Discontinue active regime for 7 days every month to let skin rest from this active repair product regimen. In other words use for 3 weeks, then discontinue for one full week and repeat ongoing.

TIP: If you are prone to breakouts use 302 Skincare Revive to spread C 12.5 Drops or as a cleanser and a leave-on moisturizer to help keep visible blemishes in check.

VISIBLE AGING:

Apply C 12.5 Drops 2x-3x per week, evenings.
New users- after two weeks use you may add any additional active.
302 Skincare Creramide Serum or Pro Hya+ would be appropriate choices to use twice per week with C 12.5 DROPS.
If you have three actives in play, limit every active to once (1x) per week application.
NEVER have more than three actives in play during a week. Limit every active to once per week to keep skin fresh and not saturated if three are in play.
Minimize other products, especially makeup and moisturizers, avoid chemical based sunblock/ SPF. Opt for mineral based formulas and apply if needed only opposite (use C 12.5 drops in the evening).

 

Beneficial for your skin if these conditions exist:

Benzoyl peroxide free for 30 days

Not inflamed or visibly unstable

Sensitive but not visibly unstable

Light to average makeup usage

Not beneficial for your skin if these conditions exist:

Inflamed, unstable skin

Frequent exfoliation

Unusual oral medications causing skin instability (i.e. chemo, cortisones, thyroid meds) may cause erratic skin behavior.

Recommended frequency of use:

Two or three times (2x-3x) per week (observe and adjust or contact us for assistance )

After one month discontinue current active(s) regimen and allow skin to rest for a 7-10 days before resuming. This will allow skin reactions further out to be fresh and not weakened by over frequent or prolonged application periods.

Cleansing Tips:

Two or three cleansers are recommended to be cycled through per week for best results.

Any 302 Skincare Cleanser or Face & Body Bar or gentle non-sudsing (sulfate free) cleanser combination is best.

Additional actives use with C 12.5 DROPS:

New Users- do not introduce another active for 2 weeks.

Do not apply a second active more often than 2x per week.

You could have a third active in play.

Three actives per week = apply C 12.5 Drops once per week (maximum).

If you have two or more actives in play AND are exfoliating frequently YOU WILL likely cause skin instability.

Additional leave-ons acceptable:

Calming Mist; recommended if two or more actives are part of your regimen.

Revive; use as needed anytime. In our experience, typically 1x daily use is best.

Remedy; (small pea sized amount for entire face) typically 1x daily. Can be especially helpful when inflammation/ irritation is a factor or to speed the healing of breakouts.

Light Moisturizer or Balance Moisturizer (on Actives free days or if needed, used sparingly am only – opposite C 12.5 Drops used evenings)

Avoid:

Exfoliation more than 1x weekly

Scrubs

Heavy makeup
